Hunting Snake by Judith Wright

Our teacher selected some poems from our books "Songs of ourselves", and  the one gien to us was 'Hunting Snake' by Judith Wright .

In the poem, the poet describes an experience she had with some friends, when they were walking down the autumn sky, and they saw a big black snake. Judith Wright uses contradictions to describe the animal, most time putting two negative adjectives and a positive one, giving us the idea that eventhough they were scared of it, the snake was beautiful and powerful.

The first part of the task was to make an oral presentation, explaning the poem. And then, the second part was to make a video of us reading the poem, while showing pictures related to it. HERE is the video we made with Mari Lecour and Valen Abreu.
